Juan Rangel

Organizer (he/him)

With a B.A. in Liberal Studies and a concentration in Mathematics, Juan brings both an educational background and lived experience to his work as an organizer with the North Valley Labor Federation. He came to this country at the age of 12 and grew up in a farmworker family, later working in the fields himself. Those experiences gave him firsthand insight into the challenges many immigrant and working families face and taught him the importance of dignity, respect, and having a voice at work.

Today, Juan organizes workers and works alongside them to build collective power, improve working conditions, and strengthen communities. He believes that when workers come together, they have the power to create meaningful and lasting change not only in their workplaces, but for their families and communities as well.
